Round 9 of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship had us head back to Queensland, well more specifically Ipswich, for the Queensland Raceway double-header.

We’d like to say tradition dictates that both the Supercars and Shannons Nationals host their rounds at Queensland Raceway back to back, but it’s actually a limited CAMS track license that sees the two events held so closely together.

That said, it was good to see the venue make some moves to improve safety, even if the new catch fencing could have been better thought out. We’re very curious to see how that evolves ahead of next years events.

The back the back events was a good opportunity to base ourselves in Brisbane for a couple of weeks and complete some additional work for our Queensland based customers and also cover some ride days at Queensland Raceway as well.

The Supercars round was a busy one for us with customers across the Formula 4 and the SuperUtes fields. It was great to see a couple of our customer notch up wins, while one of them made the headlines for their spectacular exit to one of the races which will no doubt be in the highlights real for years to come.

Below we’ve put together a very small selection of some of our favourite photos from the Supercars round at Queensland Raceway. As always if you’d like to see our recent events head on over to our facebook page.
