Our string of recent back to back race meetings concluded with round three of the Virgin Australia Supercars at Phillip Island.

April was an extremely busy month here at InSyde Media, and the trip to Phillip Island was much the same. It was one of those events that we ended up with customers across all of the categories running at the island. We also picked up some other additional work, details of which will be revealed shortly. Making for a hectic couple of days.

As for the racing at the island, it certainly created headlines. Pushing the limits is massive part of motorsport. We certainly found the limits of several tyres over the course of the event. What we ended up with was several dramatic races with some interesting results across all the classes.

Some of our customers benefited greatly, Anton De Pasquale earned his first win in the Dunlop Super2 series. While others were unfortunate victims, particularly several of our Toyota 86 Racing Series customers, who now have a massive and expensive job to rebuild their cars before the next round.

Here’s a small collection of some of Rhys Vandersyde’s favourite Virgin Australia Supercars photos from Phillip Island in Victoria. You can also find a sampling of our best photos from the support categories in a gallery on our facebook page, as well as some of our customers galleries that we shared.
